I'll tell you about me.
With my diploma as a scenographer I started working for the theater as soon as I left the Academy. I worked for 5 years in a theatrical tailor's shop as a dyer, painter and fabric decorator.
In that work there was everything I loved: painting, fabrics and the possibility of being able to create unique products for others.
However, I began to feel the need to approach a less hasty and all-encompassing production style, but more ethical, eco-sustainable and authentic.
Hence Nanapa & Bimboo was born: from the desire to continue to create and paint unique and personal products, but destined to be fully lived and last over time in an eco-sustainable and ethical way.

So I left aside a world from which I learned a lot and which allowed me to get to know myself deeply, to embrace this new project conceived from a moment of crisis and rebirth.

During the 2020 lockdown I had an Italian supply chain that produces natural yarns send me a sample of fabrics, which I fell in love with: the fabrics were perfect for the most delicate skins and the ethics behind that material suggested the idea of a new brand.

This is how Nanapa & Bimboo was born.

A collection with hemp and bamboo fibers suitable for children and perfect for mothers who want to approach an eco-sustainable lifestyle.

The main collaborator of this project was my father who, with his passion for woodworking, contributed in an important way by giving a wooden shape to my drawings and making the stamps that I now use.

The main inspiration, on the other hand, is the passion in what I do, handed down by the stories of my artisan grandmothers.
